Suddenly & Somehow Brighter

Brooklyn-based photographer Joe Perri, who grew up in South Florida, started out by photographing musicians on the road. This laid the groundwork for his storytelling approach, focusing on the intimate details of everyday life. His first book, “Suddenly and Somewhat Brighter,” captures the essence of teenage life in Iceland, a project he has dedicated over the past 5 years.
